No — participants join sessions instantly via a shareable link or 6-character code. There is no app to download and no sign-up required. Only event organisers need a Session Flo account to access the dashboard and manage sessions.
Can I restrict who can join my event?
Yes — Ultra organisers can create org-restricted or invite-only events that only allow participants whose account domain matches the organisation's domain and who are registered in the relevant Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra groups. This is ideal for internal company sessions or confidential workshops.
What types of activities can I run?
Session Flo supports live polls, multiple-choice quizzes with a leaderboard, word clouds, open-text surveys, icebreaker activities, and a collaborative agenda builder. You can mix and match activities within a single event.
How many participants can join an event?
Free accounts support up to 30 participants per event. Pro accounts support up to 200 participants, and Ultra plans up to 5000 participants. All paid plans allow unlimited events during your subscription period.
Can I customise the look and feel of my session?
Yes — Pro and Ultra users can apply custom colour themes and branding to their event pages. Ultra accounts also support custom domains and white-labelling so participants see your organisation's branding throughout.
Is my data secure?
We take data privacy seriously. All session data is stored securely and is accessible only to the event organiser. We do not share or sell your data to third parties. Ultra plans include additional data retention and security controls.
How do I run a live poll in a meeting?
Create an event in the Session Flo dashboard, add a poll activity with your question and options, then share the join link or 6-character code with your audience. Responses appear on the presenter view in real time as people vote, and you can reveal the results to the room whenever you are ready.
Does Session Flo work for hybrid and remote meetings?
Yes. Because participants join in a browser on any device, in-person and remote attendees take part in exactly the same way. Session Flo also integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 so you can attach a session to an existing meeting invite.
